Recap
Three hard earned points for Town.
Doughboys took the lead after seven minutes when Will Jones used his strength to force a shooting chance that he took with the ball ending up firmly in the far corner of the net.
A quarter of an hour later the same player rose at the far post to head home a cross.
Just before half time, good harrying won the ball and Draper got in a shot that was blocked before Abrahamu had one saved by the keeper but it was spilled to the feet of Draper, who pounced and netted.
H-T – 3-1.
Early in the second half, Warwick broke from a Doughboys corner, but, were stopped in midfield by a trip by skipper Jack O’Connor that was deemed a red card and, from then, Warwick were able to press, but, they didn’t create much.
With about ten minutes to go, they managed a consolation goal with a move from a corner as a shot went through a ruck of players. They also had a header headed off the line.
Warwick also went down to ten when they lost a player for kicking Charlie Green on the head, though he was prone at the time and the player was going at speed and may have been unlucky.
Town now had more opportunity to get on the front foot, but, couldn’t add to their tally.
